BuzzFeed came up with this article called 
41 Tailgating Tips That Are Borderline Genius 
and its pretty awesome. 

I couldn't just read it and keep all the brilliant hacks to myself so below I am going to pull out five of the ones that I found genius.
  1. Learn how to pack a cooler. Don't laugh - most people pack it all wrong. 
  2. Label your food and your coolers! Nothing worse than having to going in to reach a nice cold beer to find yourself holding a hamburger patty. 
  3. Pack an empty container to take how all your dirty serving utensils in.
  4. Pack jumper cables! You do not want to come out on a high from that victory to be stuck in a parking lot late night miles from home.
  5. Use an empty laundry detergent dispenser as a hand washing station
